Smurfit Kappa Baden Karton produces high-quality folding cardboard boxes made from recycled paper using environmentally friendly and safe technologies.

We have drawn up the following guidelines in order to provide our common work with a framework:

· The most important instruments for continuous improvement are:

Project management, statistical process control and transparent communication paths

· Confidence and motivation are a prerequisite for quality work. We therefore inform all employees openly and regularly, and involve them in finding solutions to problems

· Training aimed at ongoing further development takes place at all levels

· Safe equipment, ergonomically designed workplaces and also medical care at work are prerequisites for maintaining the health of all employees

· Every employee of our company bears a responsibility for quality, health and environmental protection and for continuously improving all of these things

Guidelines alone cannot describe our aim of continuous improvement, but they give us a basis for our approach towards quality, the awareness of quality, the environment and work safety that encompasses all levels of the company and that guarantees our common future.

We scrupulously observe not just internal guidelines but also international standards and laws. How we go about reaching and maintaining these standards is described in our integrated management system.
