Smurfit Kappa Baden Karton belongs to Smurfit Kappa Carton, which is a Subdivision of the Smurfit Kappa Group, which is the leading supplier of a wide range of carton types and packaging in Europe with a continuing strong position in Latin American countries.

Smurfit Kappa Baden Karton, Gernsbach, was originally a wood-sanding firm and cardboard factory which was established in 1882 in Murgtal in the Black Forest. Today the company produces and supplies around 150,000 t of folding box board within Europe and overseas which is manufactured on the basis of used paper utilising environmentally sound and secure technology.

Our strategy – the production of white-coated and -painted duplex and triplex carton with a coating weight per unit area of between 350 and 700 g/m2 – is based on the compliance with high standards, flexibility and performance.
